Latin Grammy-winning flamenco group Las Migas to perform in Hue and Hanoi

Winners of the Latin Grammy Award for Best Flamenco Album in 2022 and 2025, Las Migas are known for their musical talent and duende, the emotional intensity and stage presence that captivate audiences, as well as for offering a fresh, feminine, free and powerful perspective on flamenco.

Their music is rooted in a deep understanding of and respect for their heritage, alongside a strong commitment to freedom, equality and creating opportunities for younger generations of female artists in the music industry.

With their recent hit song "Celos," the group challenges lingering masculine stereotypes in flamenco and reaffirms the place of women in the popular art form.

Through the lyrics, the group highlights that language, culture and flamenco itself are not fixed, but living forms of artistic expression that evolve, develop and are enriched over time through interaction and exchange.

From reinterpreting the poetry of Federico García Lorca in songs such as "Alba" to collaborating with Las Tanxugueiras on "Grito," which combines traditional musical elements from northern and southern Spain, Las Migas continue to shape a contemporary flamenco style that engages with tradition while looking to the future.

Their performance, "Flamencas," will take place at 8 p.m. on June 16 at the Youth Theatre, 11 Ngo Thi Nham Street, Hanoi. Tickets can be collected from the Embassy of Spain in Hanoi.

The group's performance as part of Hue Festival will be held at 9 p.m. on June 14 on a stage along the Huong River, with free admission for the public.
