Largest kylin-lion-dragon dance performance sets new Vietnamese record

VOV.VN - As many as 108 teams who put on a kylin-lion-dragon dance performance in the southern province of Binh Duong in early spring have been recognised for holding the largest event of its kind in Vietnam by the Vietnam Records Organization (Vietkings).

The event was held on February 9 in Thu Dau Mot city in Binh Duong province and left a great impression on both local people and visitors due to its unique cultural features.

The festival is one of the activities held in the locality to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Snake and the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).

Le Van Thai, deputy director of Binh Duong province’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, confirmed that the occasion provides a platform for art troupes to develop cultural values and strengthen cultural exchanges among localities, all while contributing to the promotion of the local tourism industry.
