Korean author coming to Vietnam
Author Hwang Sun-mi from the Republic of Korea, whose works are loved by Vietnamese readers, will meet with fans in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Hwang is a beloved writer in the RoK, where she has won many awards and published more than forty books enjoyed by adults and children.
She was born 1963 and started writing in 1995. She is best known for her fable The Hen Who Dreamed She Could Fly, which has also been made into a successful animated film in South Korea entitled Leafie, A Hen into the Wild.
Her books translated into Vietnamese include The Hen Who Dreamed She Could Fly, Friends in Sun-rising Valley, The Blue Hairy Dog and The Bad Boy Stickers.
