K-pop, cuisine featured at Korea Culture & Tourism Festival in Hanoi
VOV.VN -The Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam will coordinate with the Korea Tourism Organization in Vietnam to hold the “Korea Culture & Tourism Festival 2026” in Hanoi from April 23 to 26, the centre said on April 20.
The event carries the message “Feel Your Korea,” introducing cultural experiences linked to the Hallyu wave and aimed at promoting tourism to South Korea among Vietnamese visitors, one of the fastest-growing markets in recent years.
At the festival, visitors can experience K-pop spaces and Korean entertainment content at the K-Content zone, featuring items from films and webtoons such as Solo Leveling. Interactive activities are designed to attract young audiences interested in Korean pop culture.
The K-Food zone recreates dishes featured in Korean films, alongside activities offering free beverages combining Korean and Vietnamese ingredients. The space provides a direct experience of Korean cuisine and culinary style.
A highlight of the programme is the “Hallyu Talkshow” on April 23, with the participation of Jung Il-woo and Vietnamese guests sharing about tourism, cuisine and lifestyle in South Korea.
Organisers aim to strengthen cultural exchange and support the goal of attracting around 600,000 Vietnamese visitors to the Republic of Korea (RoK) in 2026.
