K-pop boy band Tempest to debut live in Hanoi

VOV.VN - Tempest, a Korean idol group featuring Vietnamese member Hanbin, will delight fans in Hanoi for the first time by appearing at the VPBank K-star Spark in Vietnam concert slated for June 21 at the My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi.

Originally founded in March, 2022, under Yuehua Entertainment, Tempest are notable for winning accolades at prestigious music awards such as the Genie Music Awards 2022, Asia Artist Award 2022, Seoul Music Awards 2023, and Hanteo Music Awards 2022.

Hanbin, whose real name is Ngo Ngoc Hung, 27, hails from Yen Bai province. Hanbin first joined Yuehua Entertainment as a trainee, debuting successfully with Tempest in March, 2022.

Tempest consist of six members, namely Hanbin, Eunchan, Hyuk, Taerae, Lew, and Hyungseop.

Last year they put on an impressive performance in Ho Chi Minh City while singing Vietnamese song “Chiếc khăn gió ấm” (The warm scarf). It marked the beginning of their global tour in 2024.

The organisers of K-Star Spark music gala also confirmed that the upcoming concert on June 21 at the My Dinh National Stadium would attract famous Korean stars, including 'King of K-pop' G-Dragon who will return to Vietnam after 13 years and K-pop girl band tripleS.

Hanbin of Tempest and Nien of tripleS will serve as emcees at the concert.
