The contest was launched in August to inspire creativity within the community and to showcase the country’s beauty through authentic, vivid and emotionally engaging imagery. After more than three months of submissions, the contest received close to 1,000 entries, including over 500 short-form videos and more than 400 long-form videos.

Submitted works offered a wide range of perspectives and emotions, capturing Vietnam’s majestic natural landscapes, centuries-old cultural heritage, as well as intimate stories of everyday life deeply rooted in Vietnamese identity.

Addressing the awards ceremony, Ho An Phong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism highlighted the correlation between culture and tourism, saying culture forms the foundation and soul of tourism, while tourism serves as the “wings” that bring Vietnamese culture closer to the world.

He noted that tourism plays a vital role in introducing cultural heritage from remote and disadvantaged areas to global audiences, contributing to international integration and the growth of the creative economy.

The contest holds a significance for the Vietnamese tourism industry, marking a milestone in the industry's 65-year history of establishment and development, he said.

According to the organising board, outstanding works from the contest will be selected for use in domestic and international tourism promotion campaigns, helping present Vietnam as a youthful, inspiring and vibrant destination to global audiences.
