Huong Ly wins Miss Tourism Metropolitan International 2021
VOV.VN - Hoang Thi Huong Ly claimed a Top 5 finish and was awarded the title of Miss Tourism Metropolitan International 2021 during the grand final of the Miss Tourism International pageant which was held virtually on December 19 in Malaysia.
The 25-year-old girl stands at 1.75 metres tall and measures 86-58-94. Previously, she finished among the Top 5 of Miss Sea Vietnam 2016 and represented the coutnry at Miss Tourism International 2021.
The Ho Chi Minh City-born girl impressed the judges through her project to promote Hoi An cultural heritage sites to the wider world.
The Miss Tourism International pageant was held virtually on December 18 and December 19, with the event drawing the participation of 50 contestants from around the world and the winners of the beauty contest set to receive their crowns at a later date.
Elsewhere, Jessy Silana Wongsodiharjo of Indonesia was crowned Miss Tourism International 2021.
In addition to Miss Tourism Global, the titles of Miss Tourism Queen of the Year and Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan International went to beauties from Nigeria, Finland, and Malaysia, respectively.
Representatives from Guatemala, Sweden, and Brazil won the best national costume, the most talent and the most photogenic sub-titles.
Miss Tourism International is an annual beauty contest that has been held since 1994 in Malaysia, with the pageant highlighting beauty and diversity in culture, tourism, and heritage from around the world.
