Hue exhibition showcases President Ho Chi Minh’s activities in China
A thematic exhibition featuring 370 documents and artefacts on President Ho Chi Minh’s activities in China has opened at the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue city.
The display is organised into five sections covering his early organisational efforts, shared resolve in the fight against foreign invaders, mutual support and close ties, everlasting friendship, and an overview of Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary work in China.
The exhibition includes 24 artefacts newly donated by 16 witnesses and creators. Notable contributions include three wooden sculptures by artisan Tran Van Ngo, the musical composition “Nguyen Tat Thanh – Ho Chi Minh” by musician and Meritorious Teacher Tran Duc, and 17 ceramic artworks themed “Hue and President Ho Chi Minh.”
Le Thuy Chi, Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue, said all donated materials will be carefully archived and serve as valuable resources for future displays, helping to disseminate President Ho Chi Minh’s legacy. The museum receives dozens of significant artefacts annually, enriching its collections.
The exhibition celebrates the lasting friendship between Vietnam and China, a treasured legacy built by President Ho Chi Minh, Chairman Mao Zedong, and earlier generations of leaders, while emphasising the duty of both nations to keep it alive. It gives visitors a closer look at Ho Chi Minh’s time in China and the deep-rooted bonds shared by the two countries.
The exhibition runs until January 2026.
