HCM City to welcome AFF Cup trophy

The trophy tour kicked off on November 2 in Yangon, Myanmar, marking the start of the countdown to the region’s biggest and best football tournament, which begins on November 19. 

Myanmar’s star players, including Than Paing, Win Min Htut, and Set Phyo Wai, attended the occasion along with VIPs, officials and sponsors.

The trophy is heading to Jakarta, where it will reach on November 5, then HCM City, and Manila on November 12.

Yangon is the host city of Group B matches. The teams in the group are Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Myanmar. Manila will host the Group A teams – Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines.

The AFF Cup group stage will be played from November 19 to 26 in Myanmar and the Philippines, followed by the semi-finals and the final from December 3 to 17, which will be played on a home-and-away basis.
