HCM City photo exhibition marks 80 years of National Assembly

A photo exhibition marking the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s first general election (January 6, 1946 – 2026) and reviewing the performance of Ho Chi Minh City's delegation of 15th National Assembly (NA) deputies was inaugurated on August 7 on Nguyen Hue pedestrian street.

The 10-day exhibition is held at three locations across the city. On Nguyen Hue and Dong Khoi streets, over 100 documentary photos are on display, reflecting the legislature’s proud history and its close bond with the nation throughout eight decades of development.

On Dong Khoi street, an additional 50 photos highlight the key milestones and achievements of the city delegation of NA deputies during the 2021–2026 term.

Earlier the same day, the delegation paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang by offering incense and flowers at the Ho Chi Minh Museum, the Ton Duc Thang Museum, and the Ho Chi Minh Statue Park.
