Hanoi to stage large-scale art program for Vietnam Culture Day with 50,000 spectators

VOV.VN - Hanoi plans to hold a special art program celebrating Vietnam Culture Day on the evening of November 24, 2026, at My Dinh National Stadium, with an expected audience of approximately 50,000 people.

According to the plan issued by the Hanoi People's Committee, the event honors the nation's thousand-year cultural values while affirming culture as a spiritual foundation, an endogenous resource, and an impetus for national development.

The string of activities also connects the Great National Unity Festival on November 18 with Vietnam Culture Day on November 24, promoting the image of a thousand-year-old, creative, and integrated capital.

The program will take place from 8:00 p.m. on November 24, with a maximum duration of 120 minutes. The performance will portray the continuous flow of Vietnamese culture from tradition to modernity through a combination of national arts and advanced stage technologies. Artistic firework displays will feature throughout the event, culminating in a grand finale.

The music gala will air live on Vietnam Television (VTV). The Hanoi Press, Radio and Television Station will relay the broadcast across digital platforms and install outdoor LED screen clusters to serve residents in suburban areas.

Preparation efforts involve close coordination among centrally-run ministries and Hanoi agencies. Stage setup, rehearsals, and preliminary reviews will run from November 9 to November 21, 2026. A full dress rehearsal covering all operational plans is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on November 22, 2026.
