Hanoi to host European Day of Languages 2014
(VOV) -On October 25 the Goethe-Institute Hanoi will celebrate the European Day of Languages for the fourth time.
The European Day of Languages is an annual event organised by the European Union National Institutes of Culture (EUNIC) that aims to celebrate the diversity of languages and find effective ways to train and study another language for both teachers and learners.

This year the Embassies of France, Italy and Poland as well as the Spanish Aula Cervantes Institute, the British Council, the Goethe-Institute, the German Academic Exchange Service and the Gestión Educativa Consultore Company from Spain are participating in the event.
The European Day of Languages consists of two main activities: a conference themed “Innovations in Foreign Language Teacher Education 2.0″ (from 9.00 to 13.00) and Festival of Languages (from 14.00 to 19.00).
Within the framework of the event, participants can take part in 30-minute lessons of German, English, French, Spanish, Italian and Polish and a workshop providing information to study in Spain, Germany and Italy. Additionally, posters, books and brochures about Europe and its diversity will be showcased.
All activities of the event are free.
