Hanoi hosts Vietnam-Azerbaijan food day

VOV.VN - The Embassy of Hanoi College of Commerce and Tourism came together with the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Vietnam on October 26 to jointly organise the Vietnam-Azerbaijan food day 2023 in Hanoi.

The event took place as part of activities to celebrate the 31st anniversary of joint diplomatic ties. Azerbaijani Ambassador to Vietnam Shovgi Mehdizade Kamal Oglu was also present at the festive day.

During the event visitors had the opportunity to sample many Azerbaijani and Vietnamese traditional delicacies, thereby helping guests to discover the culture of the two countries. The highlight of the event was a barbecue competition, drawing the participation of five teams from the two countries.

Ultimately, the Sa Pa team surpassed the other competitors to win the top prize.
