Hanoi hosts vibrant international cultural exchange 2025

VOV.VN - The Hanoi International Cultural and Artistic Exchange Programme 2025 took place on the evening of November 21 on Hoan Kiem Lake’s walking street, offering a vibrant showcase of the unique cultural identities of Vietnam and countries around the world.

Directed by the Hanoi People’s Committee and organised with support from the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organisations, the event aimed to build a cultural bridge celebrating national pride, introducing the unique cultural identities of Vietnam and other countries, and reinforcing messages of solidarity, friendship and cooperation between Hanoi and international partners.

The programme drew ambassadors and deputy ambassadors from Palestine, Argentina, Laos and China; representatives from the embassies of India, Cambodia, Mongolia and the Philippines; as well as officials from municipal agencies and international organisations.

The event was structured as a three-part artistic journey that guided audiences through the beauty of Vietnam, the diversity of global cultures, and shared aspirations for peace. The first segment, “Hello Vietnam,” opened the programme with performances that highlighted the richness and vitality of Vietnamese culture.

The second part, “Cultural Bridge,” offered a space for cross-cultural exchange, where diplomats, artists, and international guests shared stories of diversity, respect, and connection.

The final segment, “Melody of Connection and Sharing,” concluded the evening with songs conveying messages of peace, love, and global solidarity

Performances by Vietnamese artists including Ha Le, Hoang Hong Ngoc and Tong Linh were joined by artists from Laos, Mongolia, Russia, China, India and Cambodia.

As part of the programme, the organizers announced a donation of VND100 million to support people affected by recent natural disasters and floods. The funds will be transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi.
