Hanoi festival to celebrate Vietnam – RoK friendship
VOV.VN - The Korea-Vietnam Friendship Festival 2025, slated for November 15-16 on Tran Van Lai Street in Hanoi, will showcase the vibrant cultural ties between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK), offering a weekend full of performances, art, and family fun.
The event will gather art troupes from the RoK such as Daejeon MBC, Miryang Arirang, Cheondam, Getdol, singer Hong Kyung-min and beloved Vietnamese artists such as Yen Le, and rapper Double 2T.
In addition to music and dance performances, the festival offers visitors the chance to immerse themselves in Korean culture through a range of interactive activities. These include trying on traditional Hanbok costumes, participating in folk games, learning how to make kimchi and kimbap, and sampling classic Korean dishes in the K-Food Zone.
The festival space will be designed as a miniature Korean Town in the heart of Hanoi where visitors can take check-in photos and capture memorable moments with friends and family.
The event will be organised by the Korean Association in Hanoi under the sponsorship of the Embassy of the RoK in Vietnam. The festival is free and open to all visitors.
