Ha Long to host debut Winter Carnival

VOV.VN - The Winter Carnival is set take place for the first time in the southern province of Quang Ninh's Ha Long City on January 1 as part of cerebrations to welcome in the new year.

The carnival is scheduled to be held at 4 p.m. at the Tuan Chau International Tourism Resort and will feature the participation of over 1,000 artists, singers, and dancers.

The highlight of the event will transpire on the bay itself, with over 100 cruise ships due to parade back and forth. In addition, audiences are set to be wowed by performances of helicopters, seaplanes, and paragliders which will take place in the skies overhead.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the chance to witness a wide range of performances which showcase the typical cultural and tourism attractions of the northeastern province, along with sampling delicious cuisine and discovering interesting tourism products at the carnival.
