Gen Z designer to recreate Vietnamese women’s beauty at Milan Fashion Week 2025
VOV.VN - Designer Phan Dang Hoang, 24, is poised to debut his latest collection "Ceramics" which showcases the beauty of Vietnamese women at Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2025, due to take place at the Royal Palace of Milan in Italy in mid-September 2025.
The outfits will recreate images of Vietnamese women from 100 years ago from a modern, innovative, and creative perspective.
The collection draws inspiration from silk paintings by famous artist Nguyen Phan Chanh and ceramic art. In addition, his fashion brand is expected to create a breakthrough in streetwear style.
Designer Phan Dang Hoang has spent more than 11 years pursuing his artistic dream, having previously rose to prominence for his series of paintings about Vietnamese artists.
The 24-year-old designer graduated from the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan, Italy. His collections featuring Vietnamese women have since been introduced in many international fashion magazines.
In May, Hoang was named in Forbes' 30 Under 30 Asia list for The Arts, recognising him as one of the most influential young artists in all of Asia.
