G-Dragon thanks Vietnamese fans after Hanoi concert
VOV.VN - Korean K-pop star G-Dragon has expressed gratitude to his Vietnamese fans following his performance at the K-Star Spark in Vietnam – Mega Concert 2025, held at Hanoi’s My Dinh National Stadium.
On June 23, the Big Bang frontman posted a video on Instagram capturing his dramatic performance in the pouring rain during the June 21 concert. He included the caption, “We’re up all night for good fun. We’re up all night for get lucky. Thank Hà Nội. Yours truly.”
As the final act of the night, G-Dragon took the stage at the height of the downpour. Although his limited interaction with the audience sparked some disappointment, he delivered a powerful performance that ignited the crowd. His trademark charisma, commanding stage presence, and refined performance skills helped close out the concert on a high note.
Due to a tight schedule, G-Dragon flew back to the Republic of Korea on June 22.
Other international acts at the event also shared messages of appreciation for their Vietnamese supporters. Australian-Korean artist DPR IAN and former 2NE1 member CL both posted thank-you notes on social media. CL wrote, “Thank you Ha Noi. Loved dancing in the rain.”
