French alternative pop duo Ojos to bring multi-city Vietnam tour
VOV.VN - French alternative pop duo Ojos are set to bring their immersive live performance experience to Vietnam this June, with a four-city tour that combines electronic music, visual storytelling and unconventional performance spaces.
Ojos, comprised of Élodie Charmensat and Hadrien Perretant, have emerged as one of the notable names in France’s contemporary alternative pop scene. Before arriving in Vietnam, the duo performed at more than 100 venues across Europe, earning recognition for their blend of electronic music, pop influences and visually driven stage productions.
What sets Ojos apart is not only its music but also its approach to live performance. With backgrounds in architecture, the two artists view the stage as an open artistic environment where sound, light and audience interaction combine to create a multi-sensory experience.
Their music is a delicate blend of modern urban life and intense energy. Through their mesmerizing vocals, delivered flexibly in both French and Spanish, Ojos effortlessly blur boundaries to touch upon the profound emotional paradoxes of the younger generation.
Considered one of the most brilliant milestones in the group's career, their debut album Oui Futur, along with hit songs like Libre and Rien à faire, will be brought to the Vietnamese stage this June.
The tour opens at the Hue Festival on June 15 with a free-admission concert on a floating stage along the Perfume River. The following day, Ojos will perform at Duy Tan University in Da Nang, bringing their music to an open and community-oriented campus environment.
On June 18, the duo will appear at Pho Ben Doi Creative Studio in Da Lat, offering audiences a closer look at their experimental performance approach. The final stop will take place in Ho Chi Minh City on June 20 at Le Café des Stagiaires, where electronic music will blend with the atmosphere of an urban cultural venue.
The four-city itinerary reflects a growing trend among independent European artists who are moving beyond conventional concert venues and embracing open, community-focused spaces.
For Ojos, each location becomes part of the artistic experience, allowing audiences to engage with the music in different ways depending on the surrounding environment.
By bringing their immersive performance concept to Vietnam, the French duo hope to create a series of unique encounters where music, space and audience interaction come together as a single artistic work.
