Exhibition displays children’s paintings on Vietnam and Russia

An exhibition displaying children’s paintings on Vietnam and Russia opened at Hoan Kiem Cultural Centre in Hanoi on March 30, the Quan Doi Nhan Dan (People’s Army) newspaper reported.

Seventy outstanding paintings depicting beautiful landscapes, people, tradition and history of the two countries and their special friendship were selected from an international painting competition entitled: “Em ve Vietnam –Em ve nuoc Nga” (I draw Vietnam – I draw Russia) and launched by the Russia-Vietnam Friendship Organisation last year.
The event was jointly organised by the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organisations (HAUFO), the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Organisation and the Russia-Vietnam Friendship Organisation to mark the 66th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The exhibition runs until April 1.
