Embassy hosts Vietnamese Culture Day in Austria

In his welcoming remarks, Vietnam Ambassador Vu Viet Anh gave thanks to the estimated 400 participants and asked parents and students alike for more interest in Vietnamese culture, as they celebrated the country’s identity, language, and way of life.

At the event, a photo exhibition showcasing the rich history of relations between Vietnam and Austria and the cultural ideals of the homeland was opened at a ribbon cutting ceremony presided over by Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Khanh Hai.

The day was filled with a variety of events such as traditional food, drink, music, dance traditional games for the children, sporting competitions and a special art performance presented by the Vietnam Contemporary Art Theatre.
