Da Nang to host Food Tour Festival 2025 with 200 exquisite dishes

VOV.VN - A total of 200 renowned domestic and international dishes will be featured at the Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2025, set to take place from March 28 to April 1 at East Sea Park in Da Nang city, as announced at a press conference on March 13.

Organized by the Da Nang Department of Tourism, the festival marks its debut as part of activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of Da Nang’s Liberation Day.

Speaking at the event, Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Da Nang Department of Tourism, highlighted the festival as a fresh addition to the city’s diverse lineup of special events throughout the year. She emphasized that the event aims to enhance the appeal of both Vietnamese and international cuisines while positioning Da Nang as a distinctive culinary tourism destination on the global map.

The festival’s main attraction will be the ‘Da Nang - Vietnam - International Culinary Space,’ where visitors can savor over 200 signature dishes from Vietnam and other countries, including the Republic of Korea, Japan, European and American nations, China, India, and Thailand.

In addition to indulging in diverse flavors, guests can take part in live cooking demonstrations featuring local delicacies such as banh xeo (Vietnamese sizzling pancake) and nem (spring rolls), as well as engage in traditional folk games.

A highlight of the event is the ‘Da Nang Food Tour - The Chef Competition,’ which will see more than 20 chefs from hotels, tourist accommodations, and restaurants showcase their culinary skills.

Notably, over 200 participants dressed in chef uniforms representing Vietnamese cuisine will deliver a vibrant flashmob performance, aiming to spread a love for local flavors and foster a sense of community connection.
