Da Nang students join Japan-Vietnam cultural day
VOV.VN - Over 500 students participated in the 10th Japan-Vietnam cultural exchange day at Dong A University in Da Nang on March 20.

In his address, Mori Takero, head of the Japanese General Consulate in Da Nang, said the day was a good chance for young Vietnamese people to understand more about Japanese culture.
The culture exchange day featured impressive performances put on by both Japanese and Vietnamese artists, Japanese paper-folding craft Origami, and the traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement Ikebana.
A flashmob dance contest got underway, drawing the participation of Vietnamese students.
Furthermore, participants took part in folk games of the two countries such as bamboo dancing, Mandarin square capturing, among others.
The function also reenacted Japanese Nagashi Somen and cosplay festivals. A total of 14 booths presenting Vietnamese and Japanese culinary culture were organised, attracting plenty of visitors.
The annual cultural day is one part of activities to celebrate the 52nd anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Japan (1973-2025).
