Japan’s "Plastic Dinoland" art exhibition comes to Hanoi

VOV.VN - Models of dinosaurs, deer, and birds created from discarded plastic toys are on display at the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Hanoi.

The art exhibition themed “Plastic Dinoland”, that aims to convey a meaningful message about the role of plastic in daily lives and its impact on the environment, presents a vibrant and colourful space featuring impressive artworks of dinosaurs and various wild animals.

What makes this exhibition unique is that each piece is crafted from thousands of plastic toys of diverse sizes and designs by renowned Japanese artist Fuji Hiroshi. Among them are many familiar toys, including famous Japanese cartoon characters such as Doraemon and Pikachu.

The Japanese artist hopes that the exhibition will help to convey a message to the public, especially the younger generation who play an important role in protecting the environment around the globe.

Previously, the items were exhibited in Australia and Thailand, receiving enthusiastic support from children and many young people in Vietnam.

The exhibition is due to last through to June 1.
