“Call Me By Fire” TV show to return in June with major format changes
VOV.VN - Vietnam’s hit reality show “Anh trai vượt ngàn chông gai” (Call Me By Fire Vietnam) is set to return for its second season in June 2026, bringing notable changes that promise to reshape the competition format and audience experience.
One of the most significant updates is the removal of the “over 30” age requirement, which defined the first season. The inclusion of contestants under 30 is expected to introduce fresh changes, greater diversity, and a renewed competitive edge to the show.
The newly unveiled logo for the 2026 edition reflects this generational shift. Designed around the imagery of flowing lava, it symbolises the fusion of youthful energy and seasoned experience. The glowing surface represents the ambition and drive of younger participants, while the deeper, steady current beneath reflects the maturity and resilience of veteran performers.
According to organiers Yeah1 Group Corporation and 1Production Co. Ltd., Season 2 will not only feature performances but also foster meaningful artistic dialogue between generations. Experienced artists are expected to provide guidance and depth, while younger talents bring creativity, bold perspectives, and renewed passion. This interplay is seen as a key factor in shaping compelling performances and unlocking each participant’s potential.
Earlier in January 2026, the show’s official fanpage revealed that the number of contestants in Season 2 would exceed 33 featured in the first season. The expanded lineup has sparked excitement among audiences, with fans actively nominating potential candidates.
Several familiar names from Season 1, including Neko Le and Tang Phuc, have also been widely mentioned by fans, who hope to see them return and further develop their unfinished journeys.
“Call Me By Fire Vietnam”, co-organised by Yeah1 Group Corporation and 1Production Co. Ltd., and first broadcast on VTV3 in 2024, features a stage dedicated to 33 male artists from a variety of fields such as music, cinema and sports.
The reality show is the Vietnamese version of the television show “Call Me by Fire” made by China’s Mango TV.
