"Bunny" set for screening in many countries and territories worldwide
VOV.VN - After smashing records, dominating cinemas and pushing total revenue to unprecedented heights in Vietnam, the film "Thỏ ơi!!" (Bunny) directed by Tran Thanh will be screened in foreign markets in the near future.
According to local film producer-director Tran Thanh, the film will be introduced to international audience in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan (China), Singapore, Mongolia, Hong Kong (China), Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia, and many other European countries.
"Everyone, please watch Bunny! The release date will be updated later. It will be shown internationally, and there are still many more screenings in Vietnam," the director excitedly shared.
This information quickly drew the attention of many viewers. Below Tran Thanh's post, many expressed their joy that the film would access international audience in the coming time.
According to Box Office Vietnam, as of March 10, "Bunny" had grossed over VND437 billion after three weeks of releasing, surpassing director Tran Thanh's "Bố già" (Dad, I'm Sorry) with VND427 billion in 2021.
Currently, "Bunny" is Tran Thanh's third highest-grossing film, and it may surpass another film by the director "Nhà bà Nữ" (The House of No Man) with VND475 billion. Earlier this week, Tran Thanh's film lost its top spot in daily box office revenue, ceding the position to pop singer My Tam's "Tài".
In 2025, Tran Thanh's film "Bộ tứ báo thủ" (The 4 rascals) was introduced to international audience in Europe and the US. The film was screened in nearly 300 cinemas abroad, including major countries such as the US, France, the UK, and Canada.
In March 2024, Tran Thanh's film "Mai" premiered in 200 cinemas in the US, Canada, and several European countries. After two weeks of international release, "Mai" collected US$2 million.
