Boys of Bangkok create entertaining catwalk chaos
Attending Vietnam International Fashion Week (VIFW) for the first time, The Boys of Bangkok presents three disctinctive collections. Titled Q Design and Play showcase happy, colourful looks decorated by pop art patterns.
Freckles, fuzzy heads full of hair and pinkish cheeks all show a world of teeage boys. Their running around the catwalk created quite a stir and laughs among the audience, breaking the facade of the usual "cold" model.
The young models’ antics brought a fresh flow of air and youthfulness to the hall, putting everyone at ease.
The second collection by P.MITH, also from Bangkok, was the opposite of the boys: mature men in suits, each holding a paper cup of coffee and a newspaper. It was nice to watch, but less fun. This collection made a statement: busy working men will be successful and their outfíts were designed for all future cold winds and harsh weather coming to them.
The last collection titled Leisure Project Stor Est. 2012 presented a more casual style for young men aged 18-25. "Simple is Best" is the best description of this collection.
