BIGO Awards Gala 2026 in Seoul honours Vietnamese creators

VOV.VN - A total of 31 Vietnamese creators were honored at the 7th BIGO Awards Gala 2026, the platform’s largest annual event, held recently in Seoul, the Republic of Korea, according to a representative of Bigo Live Vietnam.

The event attracted nearly 200 honoured creators and agencies from around the world, aiming to celebrate creativity, diversity, and the global creator community.

Creator Ho Ca drew widespread attention at the awards ceremony as he represented Vietnam, one of the platform’s leading markets in the region, with more than 1.6 million users worldwide and strong levels of viewership and engagement.

A representative of Bigo Live Vietnam said Vietnam is home to one of the most dynamic and closely connected creator communities on the platform, noting that the number of Vietnamese talents honoured this year increased compared with 2025. The company reaffirmed its commitment to supporting creators through initiatives that help them expand their influence, reach global audiences and turn their passion into sustainable opportunities.

This year’s BIGO Awards Gala brought together around 1,200 guests from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, and Africa. The event stood out for its spectacular stage production, powered by KBS’s leading live-broadcast capabilities, and a series of dynamic performances ranging from live music to appearances by international artists.

Vietnam’s strong showing in Seoul highlighted the rapid growth of the country’s creator ecosystem, with Vietnamese content creators increasingly recognized for their authenticity, content diversity and ability to build meaningful connections with audiences at home and abroad.
