Artists nationwide join online concert for COVID-19 fight
VOV.VN - Artists nationwide are set to participate in a virtual concert on September 3 hosted by the Vietnamese Musicians Association (VMA) as they help the country during its ongoing struggle against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event is scheduled to feature pieces of music selected through a contest on the nation’s COVID-19 fight launched by the association in late July.
All songs played during the course of the concert will display national patriotism and solidarity, while calling on people nationwide to overcome the various difficulties faced during the steps taken to combat COVID-19.
The concert marking Vietnam Music Day will be broadcast at 9:50 a.m. on September 3 on the fanpage of the Vietnamese Musicians Association and a number of other online platforms.
As of August 31 evening, the nation has recorded nearly 450,000 COVID-19 cases and more than 11,000 fatalities since the start of the outbreak in January last year.
