Art programme honours late PM Pham Van Dong’s lifelong devotion to nation
A special political art programme titled “Prime Minister Pham Van Dong – A lifetime for the nation and the people” was held at the Quang Ngai provincial Exhibition and Convention Centre on February 28, as part of activities marking the 120th birth anniversary of the late leader.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the event.
The programme aimed to express the profound respect and boundless gratitude of the Party, State, army and people towards late PM Dong – an outstanding leader of the Party and State, a great intellect and eminent cultural figure, and a distinguished disciple of President Ho Chi Minh.
The greatest legacy he left behind is a life of integrity and dedication to national independence and the people’s happiness. Those enduring values continue to flow through the nation’s historical current, inspiring generations today and tomorrow to shoulder their responsibility in building a strong and culturally rich Vietnam, in line with the lifelong aspirations of President Ho Chi Minh and PM Pham Van Dong.
The programme featured emotional performances of revolutionary songs, along with inspiring documentaries, vividly portraying the steadfast communist soldier and prominent cultural figure of the Vietnamese revolution.
Pham Van Dong’s 110th birth anniversary celebrated
The 110th birth anniversary of late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong, a prominent leader of Vietnam’s revolution in the 20th century, was marked at his memorial site in Duc Tan commune, central Quang Ngai province, on March 1.
