Art exchange links Vietnamese, Korean artists in Phu Tho
VOV.VN - An international art exchange exhibition themed “Cultural Flow” opened on April 22 at Hung Vuong University, organised by the Phu Tho Literature and Arts Associations in coordination with the provincial Fine Arts Association.
The exhibition continues cooperation in the arts between the Phu Tho Literature and Arts Associations and the Korea International Fine Arts Exchange Association since 2012, through seven exhibitions held in Phu Tho, Seoul and Yen Bai.
Apart from introducing artworks, the exhibitions create a bridge for artists from the two countries to meet and exchange, thus contributing to greater cultural understanding for peace and development.
With the theme “Flow of Culture,” the exhibition is one of the cultural activities serving the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day-Hung Temple Festival and the 2026 Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week.
The exhibition features 118 works by 107 artists, including 11 sculptures, along with 19 works by 10 artists from Seoul, the Republic of Korea (RoK).
The works are displayed on the campus of Hung Vuong University, where tens of thousands of students are studying, including those in fine arts. Through the exhibition, artists and art enthusiasts from Vietnam and the RoK can exchange expertise and enhance mutual understanding as a contribution to stronger cultural cooperation. The event also helps promote the image of Vietnamese people and culture, particularly that of the ancestral land of Phu Tho, to international friends.
The exhibition running from April 22 to 27, is expected to contribute to enriching cultural life and serving residents and visitors during the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day-Hung Temple Festival and the 2026 Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week.
