American jazz musician to perform in city

American alto saxophonist and composer, David Binney will give performance at the Soul Live Project Complex in HCMC’s district 3 on November 17.

It is the first time that Vietnamese music lovers will have a chance to experience this world-class saxophonist, composer and producer, together his Quartet directly from New York. 
The concert titled “David Binney Quartet Live”, is part of the “Jazz Through Time”- A New Soul Live Project Series.
Binney was born in Miami, Florida and was raised in Carpenteria, California. .When he was nineteen, he moved to New York City and studied with saxophone.
David Binney is one of the great jazz saxophonists. All over the world he performs with the best jazz musicians of our time. He is an acclaimed composer as well. He has produced all of his own 22 albums, and 300 others together with many artists. David started his record label, Mythology Records, in 1998.
