30 contestants compete for Mister Tourism World 2025 title in Vietnam
VOV.VN - As many as 30 contestants worldwide began their time competing at the Mister Tourism World 2025 male pageant on February 13 in Vinh Hy Bay in the southcentral province of Ninh Thuan.
This marks the first time that Vietnam has played host to the male pageant.
The event includes sub-contests such as Mister Sport, Mister Talent, National Costume, and Top Model, alongside activities like touring Bau Truc pottery village, environmental cleanups, and scholarship donations.
The grand finale is set for February 18, where the top 30 finalists will vie for the crown.
Launched in 2016, Mister Tourism World has become one of the leading male pageants, alongside Manhunt International, Mister World, Mister International, Mister Global, and Mister Supranational. It seeks a titleholder who advocates for environmental protection, tourism, and cultural heritage.
Vietnamese contestant Hung Nguyen, 27, stands 1.88 meters tall and weighs 75kg. He has excelled in art and dance, securing second place at the Piaggio Dance Contest 2020 and participating in major fashion events like Levi's New Year 2024 in Malaysia and Vietnam International Fashion Week.
Vietnam has seen success at the pageant, with Pham Xuan Hien winning the title in 2016. In 2022, Phung Phuoc Thinh claimed the Mister Friendship and Best Talent awards while finishing fifth runner-up, followed by Nguyen Quoc Tri securing third runner-up in 2023.
Hung Nguyen to represent Vietnam at Mister Tourism World 2025
VOV.VN - Dance teacher and model Nguyen Huu Hung, aka Hung Nguyen, will represent Vietnam to vie for a title at Mister Tourism World 2025, which is due to take place in southern central coastal province of Ninh Thuan in February.
