20 outstanding works honoured at Int’l Photography Festival 2025
VOV.VN - A photo exhibition “Vietnam through the lens of international photographers” was launched in Hue city on September 10 as part of the third Vietnam International Photography Festival, honouring 20 outstanding works by domestic and foreign photographers.

The 20 award-winning works were widely praised for their creative impact, capturing 'golden moments' of photographic art, from composition, lines, and lighting to the expression of artistic emotion.
Notable among them are The Huong River on the Festive Day of Dien Hue Nam by Le Dinh Hoang (Vietnam), The Attraction of Phu Quoc by Le Tuan Anh (Vietnam), Releasing Lanterns at Sunset by Gunaratne Madugodaralalage Thejapriya Bandu (Sri Lanka), and Sunset in Hoi An by Robert (Indonesia).
This year’s exhibition showcases 200 works by 133 photographers from Vietnam and abroad, selected from more than 6,000 entries by 415 photographers representing 16 countries. The works revolve around two main themes, namely “Vietnam through the Lens of International Photographers” and “Hue – Ancient Capital, New Opportunities.”

Many of the works have left a strong impression by portraying the beauty of Hue’s landscapes, people, nature, and heritage, helping to promote Vietnam’s image to international audiences.
Ahead of the exhibition, 30 photographers from Vietnam and abroad took part in an exchange and creative programme in Hue, capturing thousands of images of the ancient capital’s landmarks, including historical relics, traditional craft villages, Dong Ba Market, Bao Vinh Old Town, Truong Tien Bridge, and Lang Co Bay, as well as other iconic landscapes and artisan streets across Vietnam.
