10 Vietnamese films set for screening in US to mark 30 years of diplomatic ties
VOV.VN - The Vietnam Film Institute, authorized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, will organize non-profit screenings of ten Vietnamese feature films and documentaries at Metrograph cinema in New York from October 18-31.

The selection of films includes Bao giờ cho đến tháng 10 (When the tenth month comes, 1984), Thị xã trong tầm tay (The town within reach, 1983), Em bé Hà Nội (The little girl of Hanoi, 1974), Chung một dòng sông (Sharing the same river, 1959), Hà Nội trong mắt ai (Hanoi through others’ eyes, 1983), Hy vọng cuối cùng (The last hope, 1981), Gánh xiếc rong (The traveling circus, 1989), Hãy tha thứ cho em (Please forgive me, 1992), and two animated films Đáng đời thằng Cáo (A just punishment for the fox, 1959) and Con sáo biết nói (The talking starling, 1967).
The event aims to provide international cinema audiences with deeper insights into Vietnamese culture, history, and society, and mark the 30th anniversary of the normalized diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the US.
