Angola desirous of expanding cooperation with Vietnam

VOV.VN - Angola attaches great importance to stepping up cooperation and experience sharing with Vietnam to help each other in the process of national construction and development.

Jose Eduardo dos Santos who is also Chairman of the People's Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA) congratulated the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) on its successful organization of its National Party Congress and expressed his delight at fruitful cooperation between the two nations and admiration for the impressive achievements Vietnam has recorded in the process of national construction and economic development and international and regional integration.

President Jose Eduardo dos Santos recalled the impressions and memories of his visit to Vietnam in 1987 and appreciated Vietnam’s  assistance and support for his nation’s process of national reconstruction and development.

Ambassador Cuong in turn thanked the Angolan State leader for his fine sentiments towards Vietnam and conveyed greetings and best wishes from President Truong Tan Sang and other senior leaders who aspire to further strengthen Vietnam-Angola cooperation.

The Vietnamese diplomat pledged his best efforts to continue to promote mutual beneficial cooperation between Vietnam and Angola.
