Thai PM calls on all sectors to address global threats

The Prime Minister of Thailand has urged all Asia Cooperation Dialogue member countries to cooperate actively to tackle common challenges of the region in borderless world, including poverty, climate change, epidemics and conflicts. 

General Prayut Chan-o-cha on March 10 presided over the 14th ACD Ministerial Meeting at Siam Kempinski hotel. He also emphasized that we need to find strength from the diversity move forward the ACD as a whole. People participation and all sectors cooperation are needed to implement policies to concrete actions. 

Mr. Sek Wannamethee, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman said in the 14th ACD Ministerial Meeting, "we will prioritize and categorize 20 agendas to six clusters, namely connectivity, education, human resource development, tourism and culture, sustainable development and science and technology.
Moreover, the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of His Majesty the King will be proposed to achieve United Nations Sustainable development goals by 2030."
