Lao Prime Minister begins Thailand visit

Lao Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith arrived in Bangkok on July 5, beginning his two-day official visit to Thailand, according to the Spokesperson of the Thai Foreign Ministry Sek Wannamethee.

Thongloun will have talks with his Thai counterpart Prayut Chan-o-cha on the morning of July 6, the diplomat said.

The two PMs are scheduled to discuss a host of issues, including labour cooperation, cross-border tourism, infrastructure construction, trade, investment and regional connectivity.
