Explosion strikes Bangkok’s central railway station

Two people were injured as a bomb went off at Hua Lamphong station – the main railway station in Bangkok, Thailand – on May 11.

Police said it was a small bomb of the same size as a ping-pong ball.

The two passengers are now treated in hospital for minor injuries.

Thai authorities are investigating whether the attack had political motives.
