Yoshino offers Japanese cuisine for New Year
Yoshino restaurant on level 2 of the Lotte Legend Hotel Saigon will introduce a special Osechi menu, which is a set of traditional cuisine of Japan, on New Year days from December 31 to January 2.

For New Year, Japanese people often have a set of foods that are specially prepared for the big day.
Osechi is arguably the most important meal of Japanese on New Year days, each dish serving as a symbol of or a wish for the coming year.
The food is eaten in a special way by using chopsticks that are rounded on both ends; one side for humans to use, one side for the gods.
Each dish of the traditional set is made to wish for the health and happiness of the family for the coming year.
The names, colors and shapes of the foods often have a superstitious relationship with the welcoming of good fortune.
A special Osechi menu named Seven Gods of Fortune in Japanese mythology and folklore symbolizing luck, health, wealth, happiness and longevity is priced at VND1.6 million++
