Visitors to Cat Ba hit two millionth mark in 2017

VOV.VN - The number of visitors to Cat Ba Island reached 2 million in early November; 450,000 of whom were foreigners. This has been the highest and most remarkable numbers for the tourism of the so-called “Pearl Island”.

In recent years, tourism infrastructure in Cat Hai district, Hai Phong city, has been strongly invested in. The environment remains preserved towards sustainable ecotourism orientation. The Dinh Vu-Cat Hai bridge has become operational, in addition to Hai Phong-Hanoi Highway, Hanoi-Lao Cai Highway, and Cat Bi International Airport. This convenient transport system provides momentum for Cat Ba island to become a national and international tourist attraction. |
