Vietravel Airlines prepared for peak summer holiday season
VOV.VN - The Vietnam Travel Aviation Co. Ltd (Vietravel Airlines) has added its fourth plane to its fleet as of June 1 to meet the increasing travel demand of customers during the peak tourism season this summer.
According to the airline’s representative, the firm will operate its flights to popular tourist destinations such as Da Nang, Quy Nhon, and Phu Quoc. It will also launch domestic flights from Hanoi to Da Nang/ and Cam Ranh on June 7.
The airline earlier launched the Hanoi – Bangkok and HCM City - Bangkok routes, along with daily charter flights from Cam Ranh and Da Nang to Macau (China).
The airline is now working alongside partners in Northeast Asia to soon run flights to Taiwan (China), China, the Republic of Korea (RoK), and Japan.
Vietravel Airlines, inaugurated in late 2020, partnered with a RoK company to provide 11 charter flights on the Daegu-Cam Ranh route from March 28 to May 7.
As of the first quarter of the year, Vietravel Airlines had operated over 11,600 flights safely and carried close to 2.5 million passengers, with an average occupancy rate of 93.7%.
