Vietnam’s ice café a perfect chill out spot in HCM City
VOV.VN - A coffee shop owner in HCM City has invested VND2 billion to create an icy wonderland with a constant temperature of minus 10 degrees Celsius.
The super cool coffee shop is located in Cong Hoa road, Tan Binh district, HCM City and is very popular. The owner says her coffee shop is registered as the coldest café in Vietnam. |
When it opened two years ago, the shop received 40-50 visitors a day and even more at weekends. |
Before entering the cold area, visitors must wrap up in warm clothes and gloves provided by the shop. |
The shop is open from 8am to 11pm. |
The café features ice sculptures in different shapes like pine trees, reindeer, and snowflakes. |
An Alaskan husky, an animal well used to the cold, is there play with people, especially kids. |
The price for a drink ranges between VND90,000 and VND150,000. |
