Vietnamese company, Japan region bolster tourism cooperation

Japan’s Shryudo region and Vietnam’s JTB-TNT Limited Company have worked together to spur tourism cooperation between Vietnam and Japan.

Director of JTB-TNT Limited Company Nguyen Van Tan said about 500,000 Japanese tourists visited Vietnam in 2015, up 8% compared to 2014.

He asserted that the Japanese locality has many beautiful spots attractive to Vietnamese tourists, such as its ancient villages Shirakawago, Gokayama or its famous hot springs.

Shoryudo also has abundant shopping centres and fine cuisine to offer Vietnamese holiday-makers, he added.

Several Vietnamese and Japanese travel companies reached initial agreements to supply tourism services at the two sides’ event held in Ho Chi Minh City on August 3.
