Vietnam tourism to be shown at ASEAN Familiarization Tour 2021

The programme is set to feature a range of popular destinations across the country, including Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as its mouth-watering delicacies  such as Pho (noodle), Banh mi (Vietnamese bread), Banh xeo (Vietnamese pancake), and Hue royal cuisine.

ASEAN Familiarization Tour 2021 will also offer an opportunity for Korean tourism reporters and social media influencers to fully explore and immerse themselves in various tourism destinations throughout the region.

Since last year when global travel restrictions were first implemented amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the centre has produced tourism promotional videos which introduce tourism spots and resources of numerous ASEAN countries.

This year will see Korean actress and entertainer So Yu-jin join with millennials from ASEAN to take online trips to four ASEAN countries of Brunei, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Vietnam.

All the videos featured in the ASEAN Familiarization Tour 2021 will be released on official YouTube Channels of the centre and ASEAN tourism agencies.
