Vietnam to host first National Summit on Travel & Tourism

The first national tourism forum of its kind in the country is hosted by the Private Sector Development Committee (PSD), and co-organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST), Vietnam Tourism Advisory Board (TAB) and VnExpress newspaper with the support of Boston Consulting group (BCG).

It is expected to attract 1,500 delegates, including 500 CEOs and 300 specialists and representatives from businesses.

This is the first dialogue at national level of the tourism sector, offering the venue for delegates to discuss a wide range of issues including restructuring of tourism industry, promotion of national tourism, improvements in visa policies and solutions for attracting high-end visitors, aviation infrastructure and foreign investment , qualifications of workforce and application of advanced technologies in tourism management.
