Vietnam steps up tourism promotion activities abroad
VOV.VN - Local tour operator Vietravel and the HCM City Business Association co-hosted an exchange on September 23 with 30 Vietnamese ambassadors and consul generals based in foreign countries to discuss current tourism promotions that are taking place abroad.
Nguyen Quoc Ky, chairman of Vietravel, extended thanks to the various Vietnamese representative agencies operating abroad for their efforts to organise cultural exchange schemes and provide assistance to introduce Vietnamese tourism to prospective travelers in other countries.
Ky went on to express his hope that the Vietnamese ambassadors and consul generals will continue to stand alongside travel firms to introduce the quintessential nature of Vietnamese culture, whilst elevating the nation’s image among international partners.
The ambassadors participated in a meeting alongside relevant ministries and business representatives in order to gain greater insights into their needs as a means of strengthening connectivity, attracting further investment, and accelerating international integration in relation to the country’s socio-economic development.
