Vietnam remains an important source of tourists to Singapore, and the country has always been an attractive destination for international holidaymakers, including Singaporeans, according to chief representative of the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) in Vietnam Serene Ng.
She said that Vietnam's strengths are in natural conditions, rich natural resources and culture, history, and national heritage.
Stressing the need for countries to cooperate with one another to innovate and develop new tourism solution and experiences, the official affirmed that Singapore wishes to work with relevant agencies in Vietnam to offer creative and more attractive products.
She highlighted that since Singapore waived its quarantine measures against the COVID-19 pandemic in April last year, its tourism sector has recovered strongly.
Serene Ng. attributed the positive result to the country’s implementation of strategies to welcome back visitors by improving human resources working in this field, and offering new products.
