Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum launches new e-ticket system

VOV.VN - The Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts officially put into use its new electronic ticket system on January 15 with support of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT).

According to the changes, visitors will not be required to go to the counter, but can instead purchase tickets online through the national tourism application "Vietnam Tourism - Vietnam Travel" on their smart devices.

The new service is the result of a cooperation project between the Vietnam National Museum Fine Arts and the Tourism Information Center under the VNAT, with the ultimate aim of improving service quality and bringing about practical conveniences to visitors.

The e-ticket system is part of the VNAT’s smart tourism ecosystem that is expected to create favourable conditions for both tour guides and travel firms to bring visitors to the museum.

The Tourism Information Center earlier supported the deployment of the electronic ticket system at Van Mieu (Temple of Literature), the Ho Chi Minh Monument at the Presidential Palace, and Quan Thanh temple.

Recently, the Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts has implemented smart technologies in support of visitors, from applying multimedia interpretation applications such as iMuseumVFA and 3D Tou,  to introducing the VAES online art exhibition space to provide visitors with more interesting experiences..
