Vietnam, Czech augment tourism cooperation

VOV.VN - Vietnam and the Czech Republic will co-host a seminar on March 14 in Prague to bolster tourism cooperation.

Vietnam Ambassador to the Czech Republic Truong Manh Son told reporters at a March 2 press conference that though Vietnam and the Czech Republic own huge potential to boost tourism cooperation but have not exploited them effectively.
The event will offer a good opportunity for travel agents of both countries to strengthen tourism cooperation.

"This is a great opportunity for the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic to exchange opinions and sign cooperative agreements. Through the seminar, tourism businesses of both countries will discuss measures to resolve issues concerning straight air routes, visa procedures, and services," Son said.

Both sides are expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on tourism cooperation during the seminar running March 13 – 15.
